Facts about Laurel Olivia Lance

She has ADHD. She was diagnosed at 10 years old.

While she refers to both her parents as simply mom she uses Momma for Sara and Mommy for Ava to distinguish them. She tried to drop this routine as a teenager completely but her moms tend to tease her into using them by pretending they don't hear her till she does.

She tends to open up and talk out things with Sara easier however when she is under great physical or emotional distress she always, always goes to Ava for support first.

Laurel has pets! Sprout the bullfrog, Calypso the scorpion, Sunshine the boa constrictor, Judo the chameleon and Luna the leopard gecko.

Laurel is an expert at many martial arts thanks to her parents' training. She use to compete in tournaments and had the opportunity to compete on an Olympic level but chose not to.

Mick Rory and her have gone on several time heists together.

Laurel also has tech skills, mostly dedicated to breaking and entering but she learned how to code by researching a lot of Felicity Smoak's work.

Mia Queen is a friend of her's as a slightly older kid and as an adult thanks to the fun reality of time travel.

Martina Jackson and Laurel didn't get along as kids. A big thing that caused this dislike is when at Martina's 7th birthday Laurel pulled a prank with her snake Sunshine involving Martina's cake. Basically Laurel ruined everything. Her continued impulsiveness and seamless ease of getting out of trouble also annoyed Martina greatly.

She broke her leg and arm racing Daimen Palmer on their bikes when she was 13 after wiping out on a sharp curve. After getting healed on the Waverider not 2 hours later she broke her collarbone after losing focus on a flying spell Carson Palmer taught her.

Axel Ford and her stole the jump ship to go see David Bowie live sneaking backstage to meet him and get an autographed guitar of his.

She broke Ronnie's nose when the older boy told her growing up to be a pirate was illogical. She was 6. He was 13.

Indie Rae Heywood has been her best friend since before she could remember. She always calls her Heywood and Indie calls her Lo.

Josh Reed was a close friend from school. He was track star on their high school team. They began to date when she was 16 but the two broke up after only a few months of dating.

Her favorite foods are Indie's mom's homemade kimchi, peanut butter and snickerdoodles. Her favorite drink is frozen lemonade.

She dislikes being in crowds but also can't stand being in the same place for too long. Time travel is her favorite past time because to her it is fun, unpredictable and ever changing.

She identies as a demisexual bisexual.

a list of canon things about elliot that i almost never mention but probably should:

elliot, after being hunted down by a group known as the order of the serpent, lost his left arm in an explosion that they triggered

he spent months designing and building his own prosthetic

in the begininng, he wore gloves to hide his injury so that the public would not notice

he has severe ptsd following years of torture both between golden jackal ( who belongs to @foxveined​ ) and the order

elliot often has reoccurring nightmares due to these events in his life, as such he has difficulty sleeping

despite being a vigilante for almost a decade, elliot is incredibly insecure about his place as red fox

for years, he believed he was nothing but a replacement and placeholder for his predecessor cameron

he felt he was a stain on the other’s legacy

some of these feelings remain, but are suppressed

his mother was murdered by his stepfather in front of him while he couldn’t stop it

he blames himself for her death as a byproduct of his vigilante lifestyle

after her death, his mentor legally adopted him and gave him a home

unknown to elliot, his mother was a vigilante called sigrun in her younger years in his home city of lockhaven, and was a metahuman

due to this, elliot does have a metagene but as of yet the extent of his abilities are unknown to him

however, he does have a heightened healing factor that he’s unaware of

this has kept him alive through multiple near-death experiences

he has no idea if he inherited his mother’s ability of telekinesis

as a child, his stepfather was very abusive and manipulative and often beat elliot

he is very protective of others who have been in a similar situation, and often will use himself as a shield for them

elliot often, when upset or is dealing with an episode of ptsd, will turn to repairing his gear, crafting his own tech, or will watch old reruns of the x-files

he has two leopard geckos named mulder and scully

as a teen, he got a start in the vigilante scene by trying to unwravel the conspiracy of vulpes and flying fox

he came incredibly close to solving it - the final clue fell into place after the death of flying fox and the former scholarship holder

the connection became very apparent for him afterwards

other conspiracies he looked into were connections between the upper crust and wealthy citizens of graywater and the criminal underground of the city

despite elliot’s moral code, he is capable of breaking those very rules

there are few exceptions that he’d break these rules for, but they include:

cameron roy stewart, his closest friend and older brother figure

jonathan vulfe, his mentor and adoptive father

shira dantzig, his ally and mother figure

aaron laurent, his lover and current boyfriend

the guardians of graywater, his closest friends and allies

elliot has severe claustrophobia and ophidiophobia ( fear of snakes ), the latter due to his time with the order as well as autophobia

he also has a fear of golden jackal, graywater’s biggest villain due to several incidents in his youth and early years as a vigilante

he has a tree nut allergy, and is severely allergic to hazelnuts
